How Much Does a Ticket Cost?
NJ TRANSIT® fares are based on the distance between your origin and destination stations. Prices vary for adult, child, senior/disabled, and student tickets.

Airport Surcharge
A "Gate Fee" is automatically added to all tickets ending or starting at Newark Liberty International Airport Station. This fee covers the AirTrain connection.
If transferring at Secaucus Junction, ensure your ticket states "Via Secaucus" to avoid fare disputes.
